Tyler F. I'm shocked how nice this griddle is. 7 gauge (3/16") American carbon steel. The welds and craftsmanship are top notch. This griddle is made from one piece of steel, no rivets. The design is great, the sides are somewhat tall, but flared out perfectly to be able to easily get in there to get to the food. This sidewall design reduces splatter. Its big, but not too big, and it sits dead flat with zero wobble. This griddle takes seasoning extremely well and it's virtually non-stick out of the box. I also looked at the Made-In griddle, it is nice, but this griddle is thicker, better made, bigger, and less expensive. This is the best value among all competitors. It's a no brainer to buy..
